That was my reaction to Colbert's show when I first saw it, Ami, maybe a month ago.

If you're just getting to know Colbert, then you may not yet know of the word "truthiness" which he popularized. You should definitely check it out on Wikipedia. I think you will find it a very useful description of some things you encountered at Daly Thoughts. It will also help explain why debating there so often feels like boxing with a feather pillow.

Obviously I'm missing a lot of great political satire out here in Northern Europe.
